Pollution Revolution
Pollution is one of the many global devastations we face today. The effects of pollution on our world are rapidly increasing each day; people need to understand that they can help. One major type of pollution is water pollution. “Between 1942 and 1953, the Hooker Chemical & Plastics Corp. had dumped metal drums into an old canal in the town. The drums were filled with waste from pesticides the company made”(Gold 6). This horrible mistake caused breathing trouble, severe headaches, warts, and pregnant women delivering dead and defected babies. Do you want this to happen to you? Seriously, we need to make a difference and put an end to pollution. It would be a whole lot easier, though, with the help of other eager supporters. What do you think?
